"On December 2, 2012, the Hellenic Foundation asked Stelios Kotzampasakis, musician and member of the PARTHENON Orchestra, to propose a traditional project.

The musician asks Dimitri Siassiaridis, who is the Artistic Director of PARTHENON, to create this new project.

With the aim of bringing people together to party and create the PARTHENON Orchestra, Dimitri Siassiaridis named the project: "PANIYIRI"

He created the poster, the trailers and, above all, a new programme composed of traditional music from all over Greece.

The first edition took place at the Hellenic Foundation on March 16, 2013.

Faced with the success, Dimitri looked for a room to continue this project and found the Babillard in Montreuil. Unfortunately, 3 weeks before the event a fire destroyed the room.

Following this incident, he finds the Albatross room, where all the PANIYIRI will take place."
